Feeling overwhelmed?
Here's the surprising belief that was keeping me stuck.
On Wednesday, I shared how I was (?foolishly?) doing two offers at once in December
And how the extra pressure had taken some of the fun out of things.
I normally write down ideas for emails most days, but I had to take a few days off because I felt overwhelmed.
And then I did some EFT
During the EFT, I asked myself “why am I trying to do two offers?! Why did I want to?!”
I *thought* that question would help me tap into the fun I get from both. Help me remember why I love both.
Instead, this thought popped into my head
(please don't judge me)
I thought “I need lots of offers to be a good coach”.
Like WOW, where did that thought come from?!
I hadn't realised I'd been thinking that.
But once I realised that, I could do something about it.
Because I had the correct diagnosis, I could give the correct treatment
I could remind myself that being a good coach isn't related to how many offers I have.
It's about being able to breakdown concepts in a way that helps people change their lives.
And THAT, I am good at.
Without the EFT, I'd have either
Remained stuck in overwhelm about which offer to talk about (while feeling like a bad coach because I couldn't manage both 🤦♀️)
Tried to push through, while telling myself “but it's fun having two offers” (and then probably crashed from being too tired and going full pelt).
So the advice today:
If you're finding something hard, make sure you correctly diagnose the problem before trying to fix it 🙏
And a bonus tip: EFT is great at helping you diagnose beliefs that are affecting the way you feel, even when you don't realise.
