I’ve just made a decision that doesn’t make sense on paper.
I’m changing something that brings in recurring revenue.
Something that works.
Something that people say they love.
I’ve decided to stop MOMENTUM, my monthly mindfulness membership, in its current format.
And I’m turning it into The Library: a choose-your-own-pace resource hub with occasional live series.
Is it easy to make that decision? Not initially.
Is it logical? Not really.
Is it right? 100%.
And that’s the thing no one tells you about decision-making:
Sometimes peace shows up before proof.
Past me would’ve spiralled:
“What if I miss it and want it back?”
“What if I change my mind and have to rebuild?”
“What if I regret this and it’s too late to undo?”
I would have worried about a future moment in which I wish I’d made a different decision in the past.
Sound familiar?
But one of the key shifts I’ve learnt about making decisions is this
👉 You’re allowed to get it wrong.
Sacrilege, I know. What kind of perfectionist says that? 😂
But ironically, when I let myself get it wrong, I finally feel clear enough to get it right.
Because once I’d made the decision that I was going to stop MOMENTUM in its current format, I felt peace.
And then from that peace, came a new, better idea. Something I’m calling The Library.
AND EESH AM I EXCITED 😆
I’ll tell you more about The Library next time, but for now, I want you to know that there will be one last mini-programme inside MOMENTUM before things change.
And what better theme could I chose than Becoming Decisive?
It starts Monday 7th July. And it’s the last time you can join for just £7.50/month, before the price rises and the monthly model retires.
You can read more about it here.
The lesson
You’re allowed to get it wrong
When you give yourself permission to get it wrong, you feel the peace you need to get it right.
I’ll be back soon with more on The Library 🥰
Sending love,
