1 Bringing an awareness and being honest will help me see where to be more mindful and what judgements I may be applying to a situation that I can remove to help me see more clearly. Slowing down more regularly will help me SOAR
2 This won’t be easy so I am going to start small, two things, not filling every moment, so slowing down in between jobs and mini meditations. Not checking emails constantly all day, but maybe making 3 check points a day to read and respond slowly and purposefully

4 one take home, I can learn to do this, my “busy bee” persona does not define me and I now understand why this is so important
Thank you so much, this has been quiet an emotional week for me as I have felt a bit exposed in realising how I have been in such a negative cycle of feeling the need to be busy all the time!! Your explanations and examples make it really easy to understand and apply concepts to one’s own situation.
Thank you so much for sharing here Susan and you're totally right that your "busy bee" persona doesn't define you and that you can learn to do things differently, even if it's hard at times. It is emotional when you realise quite how "unmindful"you are and this links to something we talked about in meditation club last week - that it's really important to stay kind as you notice that, so it doesn't feel overwhelming and you don't tell yourself off for "being a busy bee" etc. It sounds like you are approaching this without judgement, but just a reminder that you're already doing so well if you are noticing these things! x
FRIDAY EVENING UPDATE: I'm signing out for the weekend- it's been a busy week and while I've loved it, I now need to rest my brain 🥰 I look forward to reading your comments and will reply on Monday. Enjoy the weekend 🥳
