Last week in MOMENTUM we talked about how sometimes you just need to allow the stress to be there, and I shared some techniques for doing that.
But this is HARD to do.
If you’ve assumed that work will be stressful, you might have realised that can make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Or maybe you’re trying to focus on the present moment, because you know a lot of the stress is from thinking about the future, but the present moment still feels unpleasant. It would be more enjoyable to be thinking about something else!
That’s the focus of today.
Why being in the present moment isn’t always enough to make work enjoyable - and what you need to be doing as well
How to balance allowing work to be stressful (because it will be sometimes) with not expecting it to be
Beliefs you may have that stop you enjoying work - and what to do about them
I reference this post in the podcast, so you may want to come back and have a read after.
As always, once you’ve listened, come back here and share
Your biggest lesson from today?
What you’ll do differently as a result?
One question I can help with.
I look forward to reading your comments!
